Yet another trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Late last night, the Dallas Cowboys acquired CB Joey Porter Jr. from the Steelers and it couldn’t come at a better time. The Cowboys’ secondary is expected to be without Cobie Durant this week against the Houston Texans. As for the other players on the team, here’s a better look at the health of the club after today’s injury report.
No surprise,
Cobie Durant (hamstring) did not practice today. DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring) also did not practice. Although not definitive, two DNPs practices to start the week are never a good sign.
Shavon Revel (knee) logged a DNP while Malik Hooker (forearm) was limited.
Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (groin) did not practice again Thursday. Receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) was limited again Thursday and appears to be on pace to play against Dallas. Tackle Trent Brown was limited after a DNP on Wednesday. Will Anderson (ankle) was upgraded to a full participant. Jadeveon Clowney (knee) was also limited.
