Dani Olmo say Barcelona are expecting an “aggressive” Real Madrid on Sunday when Los Blancos visit Camp Nou in La Liga.
The visitors know that a draw will be enough for Hansi Flick’s side to retain their title and ensure another trophyless season for Los Blancos.
Olmo says his team are expecting a to face a fully motivated Madrid side at the weekend.
“It’s a Clasico. We have the opportunity to win a title and also take a title away from Madrid. It’s something that doesn’t happen very often,” he told
TV3.
“These two years we’ve had the opportunity of the Super Cup, the Copa del Rey and now the League, in the same match, it’s an opportunity and also an opportunity to continue making history with this team, with these players, and we want to take advantage of it.
“We expect an aggressive Real Madrid, who have nothing to lose and will go out to win everything. I don’t think they want us to win and celebrate the League in Sunday’s game either.”
Olmo’s comments come amid reports of rising tensions in Madrid and a dressing room bust-up between Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni that has seen the Uruguayan hospitalised with a head injury.
