What is the story about?

In this week’s reacts poll, we asked readers who is their Saints mid-season MVP?

39% of voters said is it Saints QB Tyler Shough who is deserving of the honor. And rightfully so, as Shough is the reason the Saints have remained competitive through seven games. He has completed 183 of 273 passes (67.0%) for 1,721 yards, 13 touchdowns and six interceptions, posting a 90.9 passer rating.

Shough currently ranks 9th in passing yards, 13th in touchdowns and is tied for 27th in interceptions, all while playing

at less than 100%.

Despite battling through injuries, Shough has continued to lead the offense and make enough plays to give them a fighting chance each week. His toughness and ability to keep the Saints in every game make him the clear choice for the team’s midseason MVP.
