I’m not sure anyone would’ve had money on Hull City being the last team to concede a goal in this year’s Premier League, but here we are at the start of week four with the newly promoted side the only team to have kept three clean sheets.
So now it’s up to us to end that streak, just as we did for Arsenal last weekend.
However, as much as our attack has been free-scoring, our defense has been been free-conceding. No team have scored more than us, but only two teams have conceded more (Crystal Palace
and Ipswich Town). Meanwhile, Hull have just three goals in their three games.
So it’s a battle of extreme opposite styles. Who will break, the unbeatable wall or the unstoppable object? Or will it be the very beatable wall versus the rather stoppable object that will define the outcome?
Unfortunately, our injury situation remains largely unimproved, with Moisés Caicedo, Jordan Henderson, Marco Palestra, and Emmanuel Emegha all set to miss out once again.
Choose wisely.
