The New York Giants are interviewing former Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan for their vacant quarterbacks coach position, per a report from NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo.
Quarterbacks coach
appears to be the last major vacancy on head coach John Harbaugh’s coaching staff.
Callahan was fired as Titans head coach midway through the 2025 season with the team at 1-5. In one-plus season as Tennessee head coach, Callahan went 4-19.
Callahan was quarterbacks coach for the Detroit Lions in 2016 and 2017, then held that position for the Oakland Raiders in 2018. He was a non-play calling offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2019-2023 before becoming Tennessee head coach.
The Giants also recently interviewed Arizona State offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo for the quarterbacks coach role.
Tee Martin, who coached quarterbacks for Harbaugh with the Baltimore Ravens from 2023-2025, is also available after having been fired by new Ravens coach Jesse Minter.
The Giants have already surrounded second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart with experienced coaches in offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and senior offensive assistant Greg Roman.
