Rumors for the Day:
- On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer & Bryan Alvarez said WWE is purposely teasing AEW stars possibly appearing in the John Cena Last Time is Now tournament. That’s apparently part of the reason behind his language regarding wrestlers who don’t currently work for the company being in the tourney.
- The opening segment of Raw this week went 10 minutes longer than it was expected to, per Bryan Alvarez. The company “was left scrambling” with the rest of the show.
- According to PW Insider, there are two WWE names who will be featured in Disney’s Zootopia 2 but we won’t know who they are until the world premiere next week.
- The Wrestling Observer speculates Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio is likely the plan for Survivor Series in San Diego after the angle they shot on Raw this week.
- On his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan claimed El Hijo Del Vikingo turned heel because he was getting booed in Mexico over fans being upset that the title was taken off Alberto Del Rio.
