Baisangur Susurkaev kept his hype train rolling earlier tonight (Sat., Nov. 15, 2025) at UFC 322 LIVE on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, as the Contender Series
standout delivered a vicious third-round knockout (punch) over game middleweight Eric McConico.
Susurkaev, who came into tonight larger than a -1000 betting favorite, was expected to take care of business fairly early against an unproven prospect in McConico. However, it was Susurkaev who looked flat in the early going. The talented finisher did show levels to his game with a handful of takedowns, but McConico was competitive the whole way through and had some fans wondering if he could actually pull off the upset.
Luckily for Susurkaev, he was able to escape a decision win when he found a home for a nasty right hand in the third round. McConico went stiff for a second before slipping and falling to the canvas. It sort of looked like a cartoon character taking a spill from a banana peel. Susurkaev didn’t even move in for additional punches as the referee took one look at McConico and waved the fight off.
