Bayern Munich and Galatasaray have reportedly reached an agreement on a loan for Sacha Boey, though an official announcement is pending.
According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich will get €2 million as a loan fee and Galatasaray will pick up Boey’s salary. In addition, there is a €15 million purchase option as part of the deal per the report:

million.
The clubs have only been in contact since last night. An agreement has been reached today. Boey is now on his way for the medical with #Galatasaray. @SkySportDE
Interestingly, Boey left practice on Wednesday and was examined by a doctor despite there being no report of an injury. Perhaps, there was no new injury on the right-back and this was part of a medical check — at this point, who knows?
The important thing is that Bayern Munich and Galatasaray are very close to getting this deal done, with the final step being Boey’s medical exam.
In a highly scrutinized and panned move back in January of 2024, sporting director Christoph Freund approved the €30 million purchase of Boey from Galatasaray and gave him a financial package that was worth €5.9 million per season (salary + bonus) in what many fans considered to be a panic move. This would be one of Freund’s last personnel moves before board member for sport Max Eberl took over personnel decisions.
Never able to assert himself as a regular in Bavaria, a loan or full transfer was a longtime coming.
