A rematch between UFC fan favorites Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira has been officially announced for UFC 326 on Mar. 7 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two are expected to headline the event and fight for Holloway’s “BMF” title, which was announced during Friday’s 2026 Seasonal Press Conference.
Guess UFC’s social media account didn’t make that big of a mistake .
On paper, this is one of the best fights fans could have asked for. Holloway is no longer part
of the UFC’s featherweight division and completing dedicated to building himself up at 155 pounds. “Blessed” is coming off a masterful performance against Dustin Poirier at UFC 318 earlier this year and is hoping to continue his winning ways towards an official UFC lightweight title shot. Beating Oliveira early next year would be a huge step in the right direction.
Oliveira, who lost to Holloway via TKO all the way back in 2015, was able to rediscover his aura his last time out at UFC Rio when he knocked off lightweight contender Mateusz Gamrot with a second-round submission (watch HERE). “Do Bronx” was just 2-3 over his previous five fights and needed to prove he’s still a top dawg. The former UFC lightweight champion did just that and in turn lined up a massive “BMF” title fight with Holloway next year.
What do you think, fight fans? Was this the fight to make? Who’s winning?
