Earlier tonight, NXT’s Robert Stone promoted WWE’s upcoming SummerSlam tryouts on July 30 with the following social media post. Notice that Bayley is front and center in the graphic, with fellow WWE stars Je’Von Evans and Nattie positioned on either side of her.
It’s very interesting to see Bayley with such a prominent spot on this graphic given rumors about her WWE contract status, and the way Lyra Valkyria is talking like she just got rid of her from WWE for good at Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, the actual web site for reserving your WWE SummerSlam Tryout Experience has already replaced Bayley with Raw star Ivy Nile, in both the graphic and writing.

Is replacing Bayley with Nile just WWE’s way of sticking to the kayfabe angle that Bayley is injured, or is it a sign of her legitimately uncertain future with the company? Maybe both?
