Hopefully you have a travel system that is linked to points. This definitely needs to be the case if you plan on following the Dallas Cowboys around in 2026. While the schedule will be fully and formally released on Thursday, we have known for some time who and where each team will be playing their games this coming season.
The “where” is what is being discussed and assessed right now. This is the case because the Cowboys are going to be traveling the fourth-most miles of all teams across the NFL.
Only the 49ers, Rams, and Texans will travel further.
You have to keep in mind that the Cowboys are traveling to Brazil which on its own is a 4,000-mile (approximately) trip. Considering that the Cowboys also have to travel to face their division rivals on the east coast three times and that they have trips to the other side of the country to face the Seahawks and Rams, the miles add up.
This is why the schedule is always of interest to people. Understanding what will come before and after certain trips is imperative to figure out how difficult certain stretches of the season will be.
