Good morning Gang Green Nation!
The New York Jets have begun preparing for next Sunday’s season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is a so-called “revenge game” for both starting quarterbacks. Aaron Rodgers and Justin Fields switched teams during the offseason. Each team had the opportunity to retain their quarterback, and each decided to move in a different direction. Rodgers was vocal about how the Jets slighted him in the process, while Fields has been more circumspect. Professional athletes
in general take every possible motivating factor and amplify it to get an edge, so this game likely has a little more juice than the average game for each quarterback. What about you? Do you care about the so-called revenge factor, or is this just another game for you?
