Let’s get to the Philadelphia Eagles news and links …
Winners and losers from 2026 NFL schedule release – NFL.com WINNERS — 4) Philadelphia Eagles: Last season, the Eagles became the first team to repeat as NFC East champs in more than 20 years. And they appear to be in a strong enough position to make it three straight division titles now that we’ve seen what looks like a very favorable schedule. Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts might be facing some pressure, and A.J. Brown might soon be gone, but this
is a slate the Eagles can take advantage of, even with five prime-time games and an overseas trip on tap. After opening with the Commanders and Titans, things get thicker, especially with the Bears-Rams-Jaguars cluster (Weeks 3-5), but there’s nothing treacherous thereafter. Yes, the Eagles have three different pairs of back-to-back road games; they also have a three-game homestead over the holidays in December, which is nice timing. And they come against three quality teams, too: the Colts (Week 14), Seahawks (Week 15) and Texans (Week 16). Even with two roadies to close out the season, including Week 17 at San Fran, the Eagles’ schedule lays out pretty nicely, featuring a well-placed bye in Week 10.

All told, the feeling here is that the offense could have some ups and downs while the defense more often than not this team’s rock. There is potential for things to spin off the rails; sometimes disaster is much closer than it appears (I don’t recall people expecting the 2020 Eagles to look as bad as they did ahead of what became a franchise-altering season). But given the franchise’s penchant for high-level success in recent years, one must believe they could win big once again.

Commanders at Eagles. Honestly, the reason this game is so high is this: Sonny Styles. The dynamic linebacker making his debut against Jalen Hurts and this offense? That is going to be a blast to watch. Add in the return of Jayden Daniels, and the fact that this game is in the late afternoon Sunday slate (against games such as Cardinals at Chargers and Dolphins at Raiders) and you have a game you’ll want to be watching.
Game-by-game Eagles 2026 win-loss predictions – PhillyVoice
Divisional round: Eagles (3 seed) at Lions (2 seed): The Eagles get a nice lead in the first half, and then go into ultra conservative mode in the second half. The Lions take advantage and come back to win. In the aftermath, Nick Sirianni is fired, and Sean Mannion is promoted to head coach. Loss, 12-7.
Let Him Go – Iggles Blitz
I’m talking about AJ today because a few of you brought him up in response to my piece on the Eagles WR corps. With all due respect and friendship, it is time to move on. You have to let him go. AJ Brown is a few weeks away from officially being an ex-Eagle. I hate it, but this isn’t my choice. This isn’t Howie Roseman or Nick Sirianni’s choice. This is what AJ wants. Some of you will come at me disputing that. I’m tired of those arguments. Save them for someone else, please. Jimmy Bama seems like an engaging fellow, try him. The Eagles only trade two types of guys, players that are disposable and those who want out (Wentz, Reddick, Huff, etc.) Which category do you think AJ fits into? Hint…he’s sure as heck not disposable.
Philadelphia Eagles schedule 2026: Takeaways, predictions – ESPN
Bold prediction. The regular-season finale versus the Giants will seal at least one team’s playoff fate. The Giants have been largely irrelevant in the NFC East race in recent years, but the coach/quarterback combo of John Harbaugh and Jaxson Dart appears formidable and could lead to a football renaissance in New York. Perhaps the division title will be on the line when these teams tangle Week 18.
Eagles full schedule release: Predicting how Jalen Hurts and Co. will navigate a loaded October slate and high-stakes holidays – PHLY
Week 18: Eagles at Giants, time TBD, Sunday. Similar to last year against the Commanders, it wouldn’t surprise me if this game has very little riding on it for the Eagles and they elect to rest most of their starters. But for the sake of respecting the strides the Giants made toward competence this offseason, I’ll predict a series split between them and the Eagles this year. Prediction: LOSS (11-6).
How far can Eagles go? Game-by-game predictions for 2026 schedule – The Athletic
Week 18 (Date TBD): at Giants. Loss (11-6). With the division title sealed and the No. 1 seed out of reach, the Eagles rest their starters in the final game of the season. Rookie offensive lineman Markel Bell shows promise as a starter, but the Eagles lack the offensive firepower necessary to win with the reserves as they did two years earlier. Attention quickly shifts to an opening-round playoff game in Philadelphia. The Eagles went opening-round loss, Super Bowl, opening-round loss, Super Bowl, opening-round loss in Sirianni’s first five years. Will that pattern continue in Sirianni’s sixth postseason?

The number of windows and focus on big games has also opened the door for more teams to max out on prime-time slots. A quarter of the league—eight teams—are in either six or seven stand-alone night games, those being the Cowboys, Eagles, Bears, Packers, Seahawks, Bills, Chiefs and Rams.
Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro voices ESPN’s intro for PGA Championship at Aronimink – Inquirer
If Dom DiSandro didn’t already wear enough hats, he added another on Thursday morning. The Eagles’ unmistakable chief security officer/special adviser to GM Howie Roseman/head of game day coaching operations, among other things, took a brief break from his roles at the Jefferson Health Training Complex to voice the open for ESPN’s coverage of the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club, which began on Thursday.
Eagles and Ticketmaster announce partnership extension – PhiladelphiaEagles.com
The Philadelphia Eagles and Ticketmaster, a global leader in live event ticketing, today announced a multi-year extension of their partnership through 2030. The renewed agreement continues Ticketmaster’s role as the Exclusive Ticketing Partner of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Cowboys schedule 2026: Instant predictions for all 17 games – Blogging The Boys
Week 7: Cowboys at Eagles. The Eagles and Cowboys games will have some extra juice with Christian Parker taking over the defense and battling his mentor in Vic Fangio. The teams have been pretty evenly matched in the regular season over the past decade, homefield advantage carries the Eagles to victory. Cowboys lose: 4-3 record
Commanders schedule release: Predicting Washington’s 2026 game results – Hogs Haven
They start the season with two division road games, which is not ideal. The season opener is against the Philadelphia Eagles who won the division last season, but immediately flamed out in the playoffs. Washington opened up as 4.5-point underdogs for that game, but Week 1 games can be unpredictable with shortened preseasons and big changes every offseason.
NY Giants schedule 2026: Instant predictions for all 17 games – Big Blue View
Week 9: Nov. 8 — Giants at Philadelphia Eagles. Can the Giants beat the Eagles in Philly? It’s definitely possible and will come down to how their offensive line plays with Stoutland U closed up. The Eagles could (will?) also be without A.J. Brown and his impact on defensive structure. Makai Lemon could be a real threat, but he doesn’t have the size or speed of Brown, and that could make running the ball much tougher. It’s also worth noting that John Harbaugh is 5-0 coming off of bye weeks over the last five seasons and he’s been stressing that the Giants are building to beat the Eagles. Pick – Giants (5-3). [BLG Note: Spoiler alert — BBV has the G-Men SWEEPING the Eagles this season.]
CB Nazeeh Johnson visits the Giants – PFT
Cornerback Nazeeh Johnson is visiting another NFC East team as he looks for a place to play in 2026. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Johnson is visiting with the Giants on Thursday. Johnson visited with the Eagles last week.
