Jaguars fans — has the 2025 preseason affected your confidence in the direction of the team?
Though the Jaguars finished 0-2-1 during the preseason, there were plenty of things to get excited about. Cam Little nailed a 70-yard field goal. The starting offense looked great besides
one botched play that led to a fumble, and the starting defense looked massively improved in Week 3 compared to Week 1. We didn’t get to see much of No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter, but rookies Bhayshul Tuten, Jack Kiser, and Jonah Monheim were particularly impressive.
“We still got to continue to get better, there is no doubt,” head coach Liam Coen reflected after the final preseason game. “We cannot waste a single moment, second, minute, practice, walk-through, meeting – cannot be wasted. We need to improve from now until Carolina, there needs to be continued improvement.”
“But I am proud of this team and the way they compete. The physicality in which they play with, I think we can – if we can start there and have that as a standard, that continues to show up every time we compete, I’ll live with that. We got to obviously execute better in certain situational moments, and have some guys make some plays in some moments, but I am pleased with where we are from that standpoint.”
