Barcelona stars Pedri, Lamine Yamal and Joan Garcia have all been nominated for La Liga awards for August after helping the Catalans to an unbeaten start to the 2025-26 season.
Lamine Yamal has been nominated for the Player of the Month award after kicking off his La Liga season with two goals and two assists from his first three appearances.
Barcelona’s brilliant teenager faces competition from Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe, new Villarreal signing Nicolas Pepe, Athletic Club’s Nico Williams and Pere
Milla of Espanyol.
Pedri meanwhile, is in the running for Goal of the Month prize for his excellent effort in Barcelona’s 3-2 win at Levante.
The Barcelona midfielder has been nominated alongside Nicolas Pepe and Julian Alvarez. Pepe scored a neat goal against Celta, while Alvarez gets the nod for a fine free-kick for Atletico Madrid.
There’s also recognition for summer signing Joan Garcia. Barcelona’s new goalkeeper is in the running to win Save of the Month for his stop from Andrei Rațiu in the 1-1 draw with Rayo.
Sevilla stopper Ørjan Nyland and Levante’s Pablo Campos have also been nominated for the Save of the Month award.
