What is the story about?
Welcome to The Link Farm. This is your update on all things Texas A&M (that we didn’t already talk about in another article). And if there’s something we missed, be sure to talk about it in the comments.
- End of an era in Track & Field. After 10 national championships across his 22-year stay in College Station, legendary Aggie Track & Field coach Pat Henry announced his retirement earlier this week. Henry was a titan in Aggieland and throughout the world of Track & Field for his contributions to the sport.
- Zaza Nnamdi claims additional honors. Sticking with Track & Field, javelin national champ Zaza Nnamdi was named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Central Region Men’s Field Athlete of the Year. Nnamdi’s senior year included an 84.68m throw that puts him at second on Texas A&M’s all-time javelin list and fourth in NCAA history.
- Women’s Hoops SEC opponents set. The Aggies will face Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas at home in the 2026-27 season. The road opponents will be Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Texas, and Vanderbilt.
- Aggie Baseball hot on the recruiting trail. As Texas A&M looks to continue to improve a pitching rotation that struggled in 2026, Michael Earley and company continue to add arms to the roster. Most recently, the Aggies picked up a commitment from Texas State transfer Wade Cooper.
