Amid a flurry of roster moves made official on Tuesday, the Steelers announced the release of outside linebacker Bradyn Swinson from the practice squad.
Swinson, a former fifth-round pick by the New England Patriots in 2025 out of LSU, joined the Steelers practice squad on Sept. 1. Before the draft, he was graded as a Round 3-4 talent by NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein
.Along with parting ways with Swinson, the Steelers made the 53-man roster signing of cornerback Terrell Smith official, as well as the signing of outside
linebacker K.J. Henry to the practice squad.
After a busy week of roster moves, the Steelers’ roster currently sits at a full 53, but the practice squad has one open spot remaining entering Week 5.
The Steelers will next take the field on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
