Real, City both plotting big bids on Olise (The Hard Tackle)
Real Madrid and Manchester City could be ignoring the warning signs and still working to pursue Bayern Munich star Michael Olise:
Per Media Foot, City’s decision-makers have “entered the fray” by contact Bayern Munich and Olise’s representatives. That has prompted a reaction from Real Madrid, with Los Blancos reportedly reopening discussions for a possible deal. The Frenchman is also a long-term target for PSG, but Luis Campos believes the player will not be available for a reasonable fee this summer.
Manchester City and Real Madrid are keen on signing 24-year-old French international Michael Olise from Bayern Munich this summer.
According to a report by French outlet Media Foot, Manchester City and Real Madrid are interested in Michael Olise. The two European heavyweights are keen on reinforcing their offensive units by signing a productive wide attacker in the upcoming transfer window, and they have set their sights on the 24-year-old Bayern Munich sensation.
Bayern Munich has been steadfast that it will not sell Olise, but — if true — it would be curious to see how high City or Real would go with a bid.
Chelsea eyeing Wolfsburg defender (ESPN)
At one point when he was at Wolfsburg, Maxence Lacroix was on Bayern Munich’s radar, but he eventually moved on and ultimately landed a Crystal Palace. Now, Chelsea, is sneaking a peak at the 26-year-old:
Chelsea are tracking Crystal Palace center back Maxence Lacroix, according to The Daily Mail. Lacroix, 26, is playing for France at the World Cup after helping Palace lift the Europa Conference League last season. He has a contract until 2029 but, after reportedly attracting interest from Arsenal and Real Madrid, he is reportedly ready to consider his options. Meanwhile, the Blues held talks with the agent of Atalanta right back Marco Palestra two weeks ago, says Nicolo Schira. However, the Serie A club are holding out for bids of over €50 million this summer.
Bayern won’t push for Rashford (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg via @iMiaSanMia)
Despite reports, Bayern Munich is not going to chase Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford this summer:
Regarding Bayern/Rashford, there’s currently nothing to this story. No negotiations, no offer, nothing. And Rashford wouldn’t exactly be a ‘cheap’ option, as he earns a massive salary and wants a big signing fee. Bayern’s full focus is on closing the Saibari and Brown deals. There are no plans beyond that regarding incomings for the time being.
Old coach wants Kim back (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)
Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti and Bayer Munich defender Kim Min-jae have a relationship that dates back to their time together at Napoli. Now, the coach could be looking at a reunion:
✅ It is TRUE: Luciano Spalletti would like to be reunited with Min-jae Kim at Juventus. The interest is confirmed. It’s not like there are really hot negotiations at the moment, but this could really happen. This would be ideal for Bayern Munich, as it would ensure they get the most amount of money – certainly more than they’d potentially receive for Hiroki Ito. So, if they could sell Kim, they’d likely have a good amount of money to put toward a really good new player, like, for example, Vušković.
Real could make play for Dias (ESPN)
Real Madrid is scoping Manchester City center-back Rúben Dias:
Real Madrid are weighing up a €90 million move for Manchester City defender Rúben Dias as they look to strengthen their back line this summer, The Daily Mirror has revealed. The Portugal international has emerged as a top target for Madrid, who are keen to add more experience and leadership to their defense. Dias, 29, remains a key member of City’s squad, and is under contract until June 2029, but Madrid are reportedly monitoring his situation closely as they assess options ahead of the new campaign.
