After a few days where it was difficult to make progress on an agreement, Bayern Munich and PSV Eindhoven appear to be on the verge of a deal for Ismael Saibari per Foot Mercato journalists Hanif Ben Berkane and Santi Aouna:
We previously revealed that Bayern Munich had made a concrete approach. An agreement had been reached for a contract until 2030 with the player. All that was missing was an agreement between the clubs. A few days ago, we revealed that the player was scheduled to undergo his medical
examination in the United States to finalize the deal quickly, while the two clubs were in discussions. According to our sources, Bayern Munich’s initial offer was €45 million plus €5 million in bonuses. PSV Eindhoven is expected to reject this offer, as the Dutch club is demanding €50 million excluding bonuses. Negotiations will continue, but there is optimism surrounding this transfer.
If Foot Mercato’s information is correct, this could be a matter of moving some money around and shaking hands. With personal terms already in place, the deal is looking close to completion. With Bayern Munich also rumored to be getting close to an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for Nathaniel Brown, it could be a busy week at Säbener Straße.
