Real American Freestyle (RAF) knew what they were doing booking UFC loudmouth Colby Covington versus combat sports pariah Dillon Danis.
Though Covington had his time as an elite contender — something we cannot say for Danis, whose claim to fame remains being Conor McGregor’s BJJ coach who got eagle-stomped by Khabib — nowadays “Chaos” does a lot more yapping from the sidelines than actual competition. That’s long been the case for Danis as well, a troll whose trash talk is so toxic it landed him in civil
court.
Unsurprisingly, both men were on the offensive at today’s RAF07 press conference. Danis accused Covington of being in debt to a local casino, while the “King of Miami” refuted this claim and labeled himself a multi-millionaire. Afterward, it devolved into a classic schoolyard case of “Your mom!” versus “Your sister!”
High-brow stuff.
After the trash talk, the duo faced off in entertaining fashion that included a bit of shoving, some shadowboxing, and double birds from Danis. Fortunately, the situation never got too violent, as both men simply appear to be leaning into their usual antagonist roles and thrilled to be verbally sparring with a willing dance partner.

Assuming Danis doesn’t bow out at the last second, the duo will wrestle tomorrow evening (Sat., March 28, 2026) at Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. This is Covington’s second match for RAF, as he already manhandled Luke Rockhold in his promotional debut at RAF05 (highlights here). Conversely, this will be Danis’ RAF debut, though it remains to be seen how the jiu-jitsu ace’s takedowns will hold up in this style of competition.
