Barcelona are hoping to wrap up a transfer for Spain star Rodri in the coming days after beating off competition from Real Madrid for his signature.
A third offer of around €70 million has been submitted to Manchester City which Barca hope will be enough to seal the deal.
According to AS, Barcelona have also put a four-year contract worth €15m a season on the table.
The total cost of the deal when salary, transfer fee and various commissions are taken into account is expected to be around €210m in total.
Rodri is into the final year of his contract at Manchester City and has been tipped to return to La Liga, particularly after playing a key role in helping Spain win World Cup 2026.
Real Madrid were expected to go for the midfielder after the tournament and were said to have made “an offer he couldn’t refuse.” Yet it seems Rodri did exactly that in the hope he could secure a move to Barcelona instead.
