Good morning Gang Green Nation! The New York Jets have requested their first interview for defensive coordinator, asking to interview Minnesota Vikings passing defense coordinator Daronte Jones. Jones has never been a defensive coordinator at the NFL level. If he were to be hired by the Jets that would give the Jets a first time head coach, first time offensive coordinator and first time defensive coordinator. I’m not sure that would be the best path forward for this team.
