Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has hit a lot of milestones and achievements in his young career, but reaching 100 careers wins in the Bundesliga at the fastest rate of anyone ever is pretty special.
In Bayern Munich’s 3-2 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, Musiala clinched that mark. The Germany international, who is still finding his way after returning from a devastating injury suffered at the Club World Cup, was a starter, but was subbed off after 78 minutes.
The game itself will not go down as a memorable effort from Musiala, who was solid, but often was still trying to find his place in the attack. While his skill is still undeniable, physically, he does not look all the way from his leg injury and his chemistry with teammates Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Díaz is also a work in progress.
It will take time, though, as Musiala’s recovery and rehab was a thorough and exhaustive effort. Now, he just needs the minutes to get fully back into the flow.
