The No. 21 Michigan Wolverines had a lot to work on during their bye week, and they’ll hope the hard work pays off when they face the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday.
In this edition of SB Nation Reacts, we want to know if where the biggest area of improvement is needed for the Wolverines. Vote below.
- PFF ranks Michigan’s receivers at No. 102 in the nation with a 62.5 grade. Michigan’s wideouts have 11 drops on the year, including 4 each from Semaj Morgan and Channing Goodwin.
- While Michigan’s offensive line struggled against Oklahoma, they’ve improved since and PFF now ranks the Wolverines No. 26 in run blocking (69.2) and No. 23 in pass blocking (77.7).
- Michigan needs to become more fundamentally sound on defense and become more sound tackling. Michigan has 29 missed tackles in four games.
- Andrew Marsh fumbled a kick return, Semaj Morgan fumbled a punt return. The ever reliable kicker Dominic Zvada has already missed two field goals this season after going 21-of-22 last year. Punter Hudson Hollenbeck is averaging 41.6 yards per punt after having a 46.2 average last season.
