You never want to fall into a trap of being overconfident, but it this one of those cases where the Cleveland Browns should be? If you’re looking purely at team rankings, the Tennessee Titans rank 32nd in the league offensively, and 19th defensively. They are 1-5, and the Browns are 4-2, so it seems like the potential for a significant mismatch
in Cleveland’s favor.
But, when you look at the rankings, the Browns are only 29th in offense and 13th in defense, which isn’t too far off from Tennessee in both categories. That’s where the flow of the games, the eye test, and judgement come into play. That doesn’t mean Cleveland should walk all over Tennessee, especially with the offense still struggling to put points on the board. But with how great the Browns’ defense is playing, it seems like a game where Cleveland should be able to advance to 5-2, but by what magnitude?
