The Chicago Bears and the Philadelphia Eagles meet up on Monday Night Football, and each team has revealed its final injury report for the game. As expected, the Bears will be without starting quarterback Caleb Williams, but the door is open for Tyson Bagent.
Bagent entered concussion protocol earlier this week, but today he advanced enough to be able to get on the field and practice in a limited capacity. He’s officially listed as questionable, and if he’s cleared, he could dress on Monday night.
Case Keenum still seems likely to get the start, but the Bears have a walk-through tomorrow, and all day Monday, so there’s time.
Linebacker Noah Sewell (Achilles) and defensive lineman Shemar Turner (knee) are listed as out, which rounds out Chicago’s injury report. Sewell and Turner were limited all week and are in their 21-day practice window recovering from the PUP list, so before they can play, they’d need to be activated.
Kicker Cairo Santos missed practice on Thursday and Friday with a hip injury, but was back today and has no injury designation. Also free of a designation is cornerback Tyroque Stevenson, who missed some time earlier this week with a hamstring issue.
As for Ozzy Trapilo, who has practiced in full for a second consecutive week, head coach Ben Johnson was asked if he’d be an option to start at left tackle on Monday night, and he said, “No.” We’ll know 90 minutes before kickoff if he’s active, and being active in a game or two for some game reps would be a precursor to him taking over as the starter.
The Eagles will be without starting tight end Dallas Goedert, reserve receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, and backup offensive tackle Fred Johnson.
Outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard is questionable with a knee injury that limited him all week.
Running back Saquon Barkley, who was limited earlier in the week with a stinger, is not listed at all. Wideout DeVonta Smith also has no injury designation after missing Thursday’s practice with a hamstring issue. Both practiced in full today.
