Barcelona president Joan Laporta has praised Cesc Fabregas amid speculation he could return to Camp Nou at some point in the future as manager.
Fabregas is enjoying life as boss of Serie A side FC Como and likes the way he has his team playing football.
“Cesc is doing a great job. I really like his mentality,” Laporta told the Corriere della Sera.
“He knows the Barcelona philosophy very well and has also brought it to Como. We play in a similar way, the style is that.
“And it will be nice to face them
in the Champions League: the club is growing a lot, they have high-level players.”
Laporta was then quizzed further on speculation about a possible Fabregas return to Barca and added: “No no, we are happy with our coach, we love him and he is giving us great satisfaction.”
Flick is currently contracted to Barcelona until 2028, while Fabregas reportedly has a clause in his contract that allows him to head back to Camp Nou if the Catalans come calling.
