Crawford on whether there’s any truth to him dealing with a shoulder injury heading into this fight
“Where I got a shoulder injury at?” Crawford asked. “I don’t know. I think people coming up with their own antics, ‘Terence Crawford got a shoulder injury, Terence Crawford’s out of shape, Terence Crawford’s slow.’ They coming up with all
kinds of stuff.”
On if he’s noticed an increase in his power as he’s moving up
“Of course. Power is definitely going to come with it so that’s not any worries that I ever had to have.”
On what excites him most about this fight with Canelo
“Shutting everybody up.”
On being in hostile territory, getting booed by a lot of fans
“It’s not the first time that I’ve been booed. I don’t care. It’s not the first time that people went against Terence Crawford, so they can’t fight for him so it doesn’t matter. It just puts a little more icing on the cake.”
