The Green Bay Packers had two players listed as questionable going into Thursday Night Football: defensive linemen Javon Hargrave (knee/concussion) and Anthony Campbell (ankle). The Packers needed one of them (or practice squadder Eric Johnson II) to go against the Atlanta Falcons tonight, so that the team could have more than one backup for their three-man defensive interior.
When the Packers didn’t call up Johnson today, it seemed obvious that either Hargrave or Campbell would suit up; the question
was just who would play against Atlanta. Campbell was just named inactive for Green Bay, 90 minutes before kickoff, while Hargrave has apparently passed concussion protocol and is ready to rock versus the Falcons.
The Packers’ complete inactives lists was:
- WR Jayden Reed (neck/back)
- LG Aaron Banks (knee/toe)
- RT Zach Bako-Bewele (knee)
- DL Warren Brinson (calf)
- DL Anthony Campbell (ankle)
Green Bay was able to use all five of their scratches to get from a 53-man roster to a 48-man game-day roster on players who are injured, but didn’t need to call up anyone from the practice squad this week. Somehow, they’ve been able to thread the needle with injuries to linemen because they were “oversigned” on both lines going into the year.
The game-day roster today will be:
- QB: Love and Taylor
- RB: Brooks, Johnson and Lloyd
- WR: Watson, Golden, Moore, Melton and Sturdivant
- TE: Kraft, Redman, Smith and Whyle
- OL: Morgan, Jennings, Rhyan, Monk, Belton, Burton, Williams and Glover
- DL: Wyatt, Brooks, Ford, McClellan and Hargrave
- ED: Van Ness, Sorrell, Cox and Dennis-Sutton
- LB: Franklin, Cooper, McDuffie, Hopper and Niemann
- CB: Nixon, Cisse, Valentine, St-Juste and Hadden
- S: McKinney, Williams, Bullard and Oladapo
- SPT: Smack (K), Whelan (P) and Orzech
The only player making his 2026 debut today is Glover, as all other players have been active for at least one game in Week 1 or Week 2 of the regular season.
