The Texas Rangers have announced the 2025 award winners for the team, as voted upon by the D/FW chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America.
Wyatt Langford was named the team’s Player of the Year.
The outfielder avoided a sophomore slump, slashing .241/.344/.431 in 134 games, going 22 for 28 on stolen base attempts, and putting up a 5.6 bWAR and a 4.1 fWAR.
Nathan Eovaldi and Jacob deGrom were named the co-Pitchers of the Year. deGrom, pitching in his first full season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2023, put up a 2.97 ERA in 172 innings over 30 starts, striking out 185 and walking 37. Eovaldi recorded a 1.73 ERA in 22 starts covering 130 innings, with 129 Ks against 21 walks.
Jack Leiter was named the Rookie of the Year. Leiter threw 151 innings over 29 starts, putting up a 3.86 ERA, striking out 148 and walking 67.
Jacob Latz was named the Richard Durrett Hardest Working Ranger for 2025. Jake Burger received the Harold McKinney Good Guy Award. Corey Seager was the recipient of the Jim Sundberg Community Achievement Award.
