The New Orleans Saints must improve the interior of their offensive line this offseason, whether through free agency or the 2026 NFL Draft. If they turn to the free-agent market, Pittsburgh Steelers guard Isaac Seumalo could be an ideal fit in the Big Easy.
The 32-year-old has spent the past three seasons with the Steelers and just completed his 10th professional campaign. Seumalo was a third-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles, where he spent his first seven seasons under the guidance of highly
regarded offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, who recently stepped away from coaching this offseason.
Seumalo finished the 2025 season allowing four sacks and 20 total pressures on 504 pass-blocking snaps, while committing zero penalties across 827 total snaps. He appeared in 14 games, missing three due to a recurring pectoral injury. His 74.8 overall grade ranked 12th among 81 qualifying guards, while his 78.5 pass-blocking grade ranked 4th and his 68.2 run-blocking grade ranked 26th at the position, according to Pro Football Focus.
The former Pro Bowler could command another multi-year deal in free agency despite his age, thanks to his recent production and versatility. He has experience at left guard, center and right guard, while being consistently serviceable in both pass protection and run blocking throughout his career.
Do you think the Saints should pursue Isaac Seumalo in free agency?
