Mike Malott, Joaquin Buckley, and the entire UFC Edmonton crew did their jobs ahead of Saturday’s event.
At Friday’s official morning weigh-ins, Malott and Buckley successfully weighed in for their headlining welterweight bout, with both men coming in at 170.5 pounds. Canada’s Malott seeks his fourth straight win after a dominant knockout victory over one-time title challenger Gilbert Burns in his most recent outing, while Buckley needs a strong performance to stop a two-fight skid.
In the co-main
event, top 10 flyweights Erin Blanchfield and Jasmine Jasudavicius face off with a potential title shot on the line. Blanchfield weighed in at 125 pounds, while Jasudavicius was a shade under championship weight at 124.5 pounds.
Outside of a couple of scares from Kyle Daukaus and Melissa Croden—who both stripped down and weighed in behind a box—early in the second hour of the weigh-in window, all 26 fighters competing Saturday successfully made weight.
Watch ceremonial weigh-ins above, beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
