The Cleveland Browns, coming off a big win in Week 3

and looking forward to Week 4’s Thursday Night Football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be doing things in a condensed fashion this week. As always with GM Andrew Berry, the bottom of the roster and the practice squad continue to see changes on a regular basis.

Last Wednesday, the Browns signed CB D’Angelo Ross

to the practice squad and released CB Myles Bryant. Ross was not elevated for Sunday’s contest and, reportedly, Bryant will return to the practice squad and Ross will depart:

Ross was signed by the Browns last November and played in some regular season games. He competed for a roster spot this camp, but began the season on the practice squad. He was a practice squad elevation in Week 1, before being released on September 15.

Bryant is in his seventh year in the NFL, having played in 77 games combined with the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans. Bryant signed with the Browns as a free agent in April, but has yet to play a game for the team.

Cleveland has not made the move official, nor has their roster been adjusted online despite multiple reports of the move being on the NFL’s transaction wire.
