The Chargers look to have received some bad news regarding one of their best players on Thursday.
After practicing in a limited fashion on Wednesday, wide receiver Ladd McConkey did not practice at all on Thursday. Furthermore, when reporters were entering the locker room, McConkey was seen leaving with a noticeable limp, per ESPN’s Kris Rhim.
On the other side of the spectrum, cornerback Donte Jackson, who missed practice Wednesday
with a concussion, returned on Thursday while wearing the gold “do not touch me” jersey. That’s good news for a team that’s look awfully shallow at corner without him.
Another positive bit of news is seeing defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe going from DNP to limited on Thursday with that eye injury. Safety Elijah Molden, who hasn’t played since Week One, was also limited once again.
Both Derwin James and Bud Dupree were DNP on Thursday, but each got a veteran’s day off.
