Jared Verse has been a strong defensive player for the Los Angeles Rams, but can he do even more in 2026? With the Rams new look secondary Verse could be in for a very big year which could lead to Verse earning a massive pay day from the Rams after his third year.
Verse has the abiity to rush the passer and be disruptive, but he’s also missed some tackles and at times seems gassed or tired late in games. If he can find any way to improve in any of those areas, then 2026 may be his best season to date.
It’s Memorial Day, I want to thank everyone who makes this day possible and thank those people for their sacrifice.
Thank you.
And of course, thank you for checking out Turf Show Times, have a great holiday!
Rams must find ways to utilize underrated part of Jared Verse’s game (Ramswire)
“One of the more underutilized tools on the Los Angeles Rams‘ defense is Jared Verse’s ability to blitz up the middle. A powerful force, Verse’s patented bull rush move has continuously caused havoc on the line of scrimmage. However, as he is a natural edge defender, Verse doesn’t often get the opportunity to rush from the inside.
Verse has yet to develop a pass-rush arsenal that would elevate his game. As a result, Verse has been unable to improve his rate of pressures to sacks to a level of his liking.“
Rams 90-Man Roster Player Preview: Can Wide Receiver Tru Edwards Push for a Final Roster Spot? (si.com)
“Edwards was signed from Louisiana Tech and was a player who the Rams really liked as an undrafted free agent. While he started training camp on the PUP list due to an undisclosed injury, he played in the final two preseason games, totaling four catches for 57 yards and the game-winning touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers. In Weeks 2 and 3 of the preseason, he was PFF’s 12th-highest-graded wide receiver. Edwards will look to carry that momentum into year two.“
Los Angeles Rams 2026 schedule: Downloadable wallpapers (sports.yahoo)
“The Los Angeles Rams’ 2026 season begins in less than four months when they square off with the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, in a marquee Week 1 matchup. Their entire schedule is loaded with fantastic matchups from start to finish, which is why the Rams’ path to the playoffs is so difficult.
You won’t want to miss a single game this season, particularly their NFL-record seven prime-time matchups.“
