According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Nico Linner (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bryan Zaragoza’s loan move to AS Roma looks advantageous to Bayern Munich, Celta Vigo, and AS Roma alike:
Details of the Bryan Zaragoza to Roma deal:
-Roma paid Celta Vigo €3m to terminate the current loan
-5-month loan until the end of the season with an option to buy
-Option to buy worth €13.5m (€1.5m more expensive than the one that was agreed with Celta)
-Becomes an obligation to buy if Bryan
plays at least 50% of possible minutes for the rest of the season AND if Roma qualifies for at least next season’s Europa League
This a rare deal where every single party got what it wanted. Celta Vigo got paid, Bayern Munich has good terms for an option to buy clause for AS Roma, and AS Roma will be able to keep Zaragoza at a reasonable rate if he performs.
Not bad…
