A social media post by Roman Reigns on Monday drew attention not for its content but for its capitalization.
On X, formerly Twitter, the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion issued a statement acknowledging CM Punk, the man he defeated for the title Sunday at WrestleMania 42, and offered him begrudging respect.
Reigns wrote:
Despite All The Shit You’ve Put Me Through Over The Years, I Can Honestly Say Under Those Bright Lights… We Made Magic.
I Still Hate You, But Last Night Will Live Forever.
Immediately, fans noticed that Reigns’ choice to capitalize the first letter of every word mirrored the unexplained social media habit of 17-time world champion and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
“You may as well end this post with WOOOOO!” wrote one fan, as another replied, “Roman has one of those Ric Flair iPhones.”
But the best response came from Flair’s son-in-law, wrestling podcaster Conrad Thompson, who reposted Reigns’ message, asking, “Richard? Pop Pop? Is That You? Why Are You Tweeting From Roman’s Account?”
Other posts from Reigns’ account also show the same unusual capitalization, though some still had him using standard casing.
Whatever The Case May Be, As This Site’s Chronicler Of All Things Tribal Chief, I May Have To Follow The Same Principles Set Forth By Reigns As I Continue To Document The Accounts Of The Most Preeminent Performer In Sports Entertainment History.
WOOOOO!
