Barcelona announced on Tuesday that Roony Bardghji has indeed suffered a torn ACL in his right knee and is headed for surgery and a long spell on the sidelines.
Reports on Monday said Roony suffered the injury on his own during individual training as the winger prepared for a move away on loan, and
any hopes of a transfer now end as the Swedish winger faces another major setback.
This is the second ACL injury in the same knee for Roony, who missed 10 months of action when playing for Copenhagen and now must deal with the uncertainty of trying to come back and play at the highest level after two major surgeries at the age of 20.
