They wanted (I think?) to score runs; they scored 9!
They wanted Tim Herrin to continue to turn his season around. He did.
They wanted to win; they did!
They wanted the Orioles to lose. Check!
They wanted the White Sox to lose. The Pirates humiliated them.
Coulda been even better if Toronto, Minnesota and Texas lost, but we can’t have everything… At once.
