The TV ratings and viewership data are in for the Aug. 27 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Per Wrestlenomics, Dynamite netted 585,000 viewers and a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. Viewership was up from last week’s 565K, but the demo rating fell from 0.16. Like always, these numbers don’t include anybody who was watching on the Max streaming service.
Dynamite hasn’t drawn a demo rating that low since March 5, nearly six months ago. It’s also tied for the show’s lowest demo rating thus far in 2025.
Even so, Wrestlenomics says Dynamite “ranked approximately #4 for the night on cable,” which shows you how rough TV numbers have been this summer.
This was the fallout episode of Dynamite following the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, and also the beginning of AEW’s residency in the former ECW Arena. AEW tried to take things to the extreme with Darby Allin and Claudio Castagnoli doing crazy things in a Falls Count Anywhere match, but the demo rating did not produce the desired result.
