Mark Pope and his staff are hitting the recruiting trail hard as they look to land their first commitment in the class of 2026.
With plenty of high-profile recruits on the UK staff’s big board, the staff is looking to make some noise in this year’s high school recruiting cycle. Now with the latest update from 247 Sports on their class recruiting rankings, the Cats seem to be in a great position for six of the top ten players.
Leading the way in the latest update is still forward and Kentucky native,
Tyran Stokes, who maintains the No. 1 overall player according to 247 Sports. Right behind are Jordan Smith (No. 2), Caleb Holt (No. 5), Anthony Thompson (No. 7), Christian Collins (No. 8), and Baba Oladotun (No. 10) to round out the players with some Kentucky buzz in the top-10.
Several players also landed inside the top 20, including Bryson Howard (No. 12), Taylen Kinney (No. 13), Miikka Muurinen (No. 15), Deron Rippey (No. 16), and Arafan Diane at No. 17 overall.
Mark Pope and his staff have this class set up to be a really good one. Let’s see who all they gain more traction with, as fall visits start to kick off this weekend.
