The Associated Press released its All-American Team Monday and AJ Dybantsa was one of five players that made the exclusive team. He is the lone freshman. Below are the five players and their vote totals

Kansas’ Darryn Peterson got the nod as the Big 12 Freshman of the Year, but Dybantsa received AP All-American honors over the Jayhawks’ star freshman.
AJ’s exhibition debut for BYU on Saturday made waves in college basketball and NBA circles over the weekend. AJ scored 30 points and stuffed the stat sheet in an efficient scoring game that showed off his multi-faceted scoring ability. BYU has one last exhibition tune-up Friday night in SLC versus North Carolina before BYU opens the regular season two weeks from today versus Villanova in Las Vegas.
