The Deacs have a great opportunity to gain back some ground on the resume today when they take on the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill. Wake hasn’t beaten UNC in the Dean Dome since 2010, and UNC is going for their 500th career win in the building, so pulling off the upset in this one is not going to be easy. The Heels have one of the best front courts in the nation with freshman phenom Caleb Wilson (19.3 points, 10.9 rebounds per game) and veteran Henri Veesaar (16.3 points, 9.2 rebounds)—if Wake has a repeat performance of the Miami game from the big men, the Deacs are probably going to get blown out of this one by a pretty large margin. Wake’s best chance to win this one is going to be limit the Heels on the glass and make an unusually high number of 3-pointers.
