All the news regarding LeBron James’ injury has been positive over the last week and Sunday was no different.
With the Lakers returning home from their five-game road trip, LeBron will join them as a full
participant during practice on Monday, as reported by Shams Charania of ESPN.
LeBron has been practicing with South Bay and has had no lingering effects afterwards.
This sciatica injury has sidelined LeBron not just for the start of the season, but for the entirety of training camp. However, it seems he’s very close to putting it all behind him and getting back to playing basketball.
Given that it’s been a relatively smooth ramp-up for LeBron over the last week, if he practices on Monday and feels relatively good, the only question left is when he can make his debut.
The Lakers’ next game is on Tuesday at home against the Jazz. Los Angeles then has an unusually long break and won’t have another game until Nov. 23, also against the Jazz, but this time in Utah.
After that, LA’s next game is on Nov. 25 at home against the Clippers, which is an NBA Cup game. The great news is that LeBron will be returning soon and we can finally see how he plays with this Lakers team.
Los Angeles has gotten off to a great start to the season, winning 10 of their first 14 games. Adding LeBron to the mix will only make this team better, providing them with an elite scorer and another ball handler.
Finally, we can witness him alongside Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves because, at this point, it’s not a matter of if, but when.
