Scouting Report
Hamilton is an under-the-radar prospect, currently lacking a rating from the various recruiting services. He is a two-way player who has turned a lot of heads with his playmaking ability as a wide receiver, though he is being recruited as a defensive back by Minnesota. Hamilton averaged 25 yards per reception last season, hauling in 30 catches for 751 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. He scored four touchdowns in their state championship game alone. Hamilton has excellent vision and instincts to go along with impressive speed and athleticism. Whether he ends up at cornerback or safety, he’ll be a bit of a project in terms of his technique as a defensive back.
