The Cleveland Browns will not be at full strength on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, but reinforcements could be on the way quickly. DT Mike Hall Jr. was able to practice on Thursday and Friday this week, but was ruled out for the Week 1’s Battle of Ohio. RB Quinshon Judkins signed his rookie contract on Saturday, but Cleveland was given a two-week roster exemption for the second-round pick to ramp up to play
.The Browns depth chart on offense looks much better with Judkins in place, but it is
lacking backup depth and is full of inexperience. With the Baltimore Ravens on the schedule in Week 2, Cleveland may only need one of the two-week exemptions for Judkins, according to Adam Schefter:
With the legal charge not pursued in Florida, it is still possible that the NFL will discipline Judkins, but the league is not placing him on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, which will allow him to play as soon as he is ready. Last year, the NFL placed Hall on the Exempt List before suspending him.
We will keep you up to date on Judkins’ return to the field as information and reports become available.
