According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich will not encounter any pushback from Eintracht Frankfurt on letting Nathaniel Brown leave. It has already been reported that Brown and Bayern Munich have agreed on personal terms as well, so this should be an easy negotiation, right?
Right?
Maybe not.
While Eintracht Frankfurt is willing to let Brown leave, it also has a target price in the range of €60 million to €65 million for that to happen:
Markus Krösche has already given
Nathaniel Brown permission in principle to join Bayern; he doesn’t want to stand in the way of this career move. However, Frankfurt want a fee in line with the player’s market. Eintracht currently value Brown at around €60-65m. This fee – including add-ons – is what they aim to get. Bayern have already been informed of that. Frankfurt don’t want negotiations to drag on, they want to finalize the entire process quickly.
Rumors have indicated the Bayern Munich values Brown at €50 million. As fans have learned throughout this young transfer season so far, Bayern Munich is not willing to budge off of its number. While the club seemingly likes everything about Brown, it could become a test of just how much wants Brown on its squad for the 2026/27 season.
So, should Bayern Munich exit its comfort zone and pay what Eintracht Frankfurt wants for Brown…or stick to its guns and walk away from the table?
