The Chicago Bears are not done adding former United Football League players.
According to Adam Schefter, the Bears are adding receiver and kick returner Kaden Davis. He most recently played for the Houston Gamblers of the UFL.
Davis was undrafted in 2022 out of Northwest Missouri State. He’s bounced around practice squads in the NFL and spring leagues like the USFL.
His only NFL regular-season experience came in 2023 and 2024 when he appeared in four games across the two seasons for the Cleveland Browns.
He returned four kicks for 135 yards. He played a total of 16 offensive snaps and 34 special teams snaps during those appearances.
With the Gamblers he returned 10 kicks for 275 yards and added four receptions for 32 yards.
It’s worth noting Davis briefly spent training camp in 2024 with the Detroit Lions and would be known to Ben Johnson and Antwaan Randle-El.
A corresponding move to make room for Davis might be coming.
