Barcelona have reportedly sent scouts to watch Stuttgart and Germany defender Finn Jeltsch in action as they continue their search for a potential new center-back.
According to Sky Sport Germany, Barcelona and Inter scouts were spotted in town to watch Jeltsch last month when Stuttgart faced Viking Stavanger in the Champions League.
The 20-year-old is also believed to have attracted interest from Premier League clubs and was called up by Jurgen Klopp for Germany’s current Nations League fixtures.
Jeltsch
began his career at FC Nürnberg and signed for Stuttgart in 2025. He’s quickly gone on to impress with the Bundesliga side and is now a regular fixture in the starting XI.
The youngster is believed to be valued at around €45 million and is clearly one to watch as the season progresses and interest in him grows from across Europe.
Barcelona were expected to sign a defender last summer but instead focused on adding to their attack and bringing in Rodri from Manchester City.
