Axel Disasi has completed his loan move to Crystal Palace, joining the Eagles for the season ahead, and hoping to take flight with them in both the Premier League and the Europa League under new manager Pierre Sage. I think we all would’ve preferred a more permanent arrangement, but it is what it is: a loan with no options, clauses, or future considerations.
I suppose it’s only fair that we give something back to Palace after signing center back Maxence Lacroix from them.
That of course doesn’t necessarily
rule out the possibility of Disasi sticking with Palace for the long term, but either way, we’re going to be doing some more negotiating next summer as well. The 28-year-old has three more years left on his Chelsea contract at this time.
“I’m a defender with a lot of passion, let’s put it like this. I love to defend very hard. I love to work for the team and just help my team the best that I can.”

Good luck, Axel!
